Rajasthan CM Approves Land Allocations for Petrozone, Solar Project

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has approved land allocations to bolster industrial growth, renewable energy development, and water supply infrastructure.
 

Under the 2024-25 Budget announcements, 74.50 hectares in Sindhiyon Ki Dhani and 102 hectares in Khemababa Nagar of Pachpadra Tehsil, Balotra have been allotted to the Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO) for setting up Rajasthan Petrozone near the Pachpadra refinery. Work on the project is set to commence soon.
 

In the renewable energy sector, 4,000 hectares in Bodana village, Jaisalmer district, have been allocated to Rajasthan Solar Park Development Company for a 2,000 MW solar power project, advancing clean energy initiatives. Additionally, 31 hectares in Piplund village, Jahazpur Tehsil in Bhilwara district, have been approved for a new industrial area under RIICO's development plans.
 

To address water scarcity, 221 hectares in villages of Mandrayal Tehsil (Karauli district) have been designated for a reservoir as part of the Chambal-Sawai Madhopur-Karauli-Nadauti-Gangapur City drinking water project. This scheme aims to provide reliable drinking water to the region.
 

These initiatives underscore the government's commitment to industrial development, energy self-reliance, and improved water accessibility while creating substantial employment opportunities for Rajasthan's youth.
