Bondada Engineering Wins Order Worth Rs 575cr for Solar Power Projects

Bondada Engineering has secured a contract valued at Rs 575 crore for solar power projects across Maharashtra, and received a letter of award (LoA) from Lumina Clean Energy, Purelight Energy and VVKR Photovoltaics Energy. These firms are special purpose vehicles (SPVs) backed by Paradigm IT Technologies and Metalcraft Forming Industries.

 

As part of the project scope, the company will oversee supplying, installing, testing, and commissioning grid-connected distributed solar power plants, and includes connecting these plants to 11 kV lines and implementing a remote monitoring system (RMS) for the solar power plants. This work is aimed at solarizing selected agricultural feeders at the sub-station (SS) level within the MSEDCL jurisdiction.

 

The initiative is part of the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0 under the PM-KUSUM Solar projects, which are being rolled out across various districts in Maharashtra. Overall capacity of the plants is 170.40 MW on DC basis.

 

Moreover, Bondada Engineering has recently received an add-on work order of Rs 85.14 crore from Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL) for providing infrastructure Service (IaaSP) for GBT, Infrastructure as a Service Provider (IaaSP) for supply installation of Infrastructure Item, and the subsequent operation & maintenance (O&M) for five years. The total contract value is Rs 575. 74 crore.
