Technique Solaire Commissions Solar Power Project in Maharashtra

French solar solutions provider, Technique Solaire, has successfully commissioned its solar power project in Maharashtra. This is company's second project in India. The solar plant is built on the territory of villages of Ratnapur and Manwath in Parbhani district.

The ground solar photovoltaic (PV) plant with a total output of 27 MWp is spread over 40 ha. The project which represents approximately EUR 12 million investment, with senior debt financed by the State Bank of India, was the winner of a state tender bagged by the company’s local subsidiary, JLTM Energy, in May 2018.

The solar plant will produce green electricity equivalent to the local electricity consumption of 65,000 inhabitants. The first ground solar power plant built by Technique Solaire in India, with an output of 5.5 MWp, was commissioned in March 2017 in the state of Uttarakhand.

The company intends to develop 200 MWp to 300 MWp in India over the next three years.
