Tenughat Vidyut Nigam to Augment Coal-Based Power Capacity

Tenughat Vidyut Nigam is planning to expand coal-based power capacity from 420 MW (two x 210 MW) to 1,320 MW (two x 660 MW) at Lalpania in Bokaro district of Jharkhand.

 

The project worth Rs 9,500 crore will also include exploration of Rajbar E&D Coal Block allocated through Government Dispensation Route.

 

As per the latest information mapped by Projects Today, DPR has been prepared and submitted for approval. The Tenughat Vidyut Nigam is waiting terms of reference (ToR) approval.
