PGCIL Commissions Transmission System in Rajasthan

POWERGRID Khetri Transmission System has commissioned transmission system associated with LTA applications in Rajasthan SEZ Part-C.

 

The transmission project comprises the following elements -- 765/400 kV, two x 1500 MVA sub-station at Khetri with 765 kV (two x 240 MVAR) and 400 kV (one x 125 MVAR) bus reactors.

 

It also includes 765 kV D/C Khetri-Jhatikara line along with associated bays at both ends and one x 240 MVAR switchable line reactor with bay for each Ckt at Jhatikara end; and 400 kV D/C Khetri-Sikar line along with associated bays at both ends.

 

The project taken up on build, own, operate and maintain basis (won under TBCB Route) has been commissioned and put under commercial operation on 4 October, 2021 by POWERGRID Khetri Transmission System, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL).
