Alfanar Wins $175mn Contract for 380kV Substation

Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) has awarded the contracts worth SAR 656 million (USD 175million) for construction of 380kV Substations at Baha and expansion of 380kV Substations at Umluj, Yanbu, Al Wajh.

 

The contracts has been awarded to Saudi based construction firm, Alfanar Construction.

 

As part of the contracts, a new 380kV Substations will be constructed at Baha and in Umluj, Yanbu, Al Wajh area of western region, existing 380kV substation will be expanded.

 

The contract will be executed on lump sum turnkey basis, the design, engineering, materials procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, installation, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, all associated work and services until final handing over of substation work in a satisfactorily working and operating condition.
