The agreed tariff for the power is Rs 3.65 per kilowatt-hour (kWh). Simultaneously, JSW Energy announced the successful commissioning of 281 MW of new renewable energy capacity, which includes 215 MW from solar and 66 MW from wind sources. This addition pushes JSW Energy’s total installed capacity to 12,499 MW, with renewables now accounting for 55 percent of the total. The company’s renewable portfolio includes 1,968 MW solar, 3,482 MW wind, and 1,391 MW hydro capacities.

Further strengthening its green portfolio, JSW is expanding its energy storage capabilities, currently holding 26.4 GWh in hydro pumped storage and 2.9 GWh in battery energy storage, with plans to reach 40 GWh of total storage capacity by 2030. This move reinforces JSW’s commitment to sustainable energy solutions.
