HREPL Signs 14 MW Solar Power Deals with Höganäs India, Hirschvogel Components

Hinduja Renewables Energy (HREPL) has entered into solar power delivery agreements with Höganäs India and Hirschvogel Components India to support the decarbonization of India’s manufacturing sector.

The combined agreements cover a capacity of 14 MW and will draw renewable energy from HREPL’s 35 MWp solar park located in Nanded, Maharashtra. The initiative is expected to significantly reduce carbon emissions, with an estimated offset of around 0.53 million tonne of CO2 equivalent over its operational lifetime. It also reinforces long-term renewable energy adoption among industrial consumers. HREPL currently operates a diversified renewable energy portfolio of approx. three GW, spanning solar, wind, hybrid systems, and energy storage solutions. The company aims to expand its total capacity to 10 GW by 2030 through investments in battery storage and dispatchable renewable infrastructure. It is also developing two to four GWh of battery energy storage capacity to ensure reliable and flexible power supply.

The company’s broader strategy focuses on delivering firm and sustainable energy solutions, while previous collaborations include agreements with major industrial players such as Lloyds Metals & Energy and LG Electronics, strengthening its position in the industrial renewable energy ecosystem.
