Interpipe Resumed Deliveries of Steel Pipes to Qatar Petroleum

Interpipe, a global producer of steel pipes and railway products based in Ukraine, resumed deliveries of steel pipes to Qatar Petroleum, one of the largest oil-producing companies in the Middle East.

Interpipe started cooperation with Qatar Petroleum in 2020, but after the invasion of Russian troops in Ukraine pipe supplies were suspended.

However, cooperation resumed last year, and more than 4,000 ton of line pipes had been shipped by the end of 2023. They are going to be used in the Dukhan Field Flowlines project to lay pipelines in the Dukhan oil and gas basin.

Artem Artemov, Pipe Sales Director for MENA markets at Interpipe: These orders are a sophisticated product with high customer demands. Qatar Petroleum has one of the strictest technical requirements in the Middle East. Thus, this contract is important for Interpipe not just because of volumes but reputationally as well. Its successful fulfillment will allow us not only to participate in the further stages of the Dukhan Field Flowlines project but will also help in pre-qualifications in other oil and gas producers in Qatar.
