Iran Replaces 2,222 Old Heavy-Duty Trucks with New Ones

Iran Fuel Conservation Company (IFCC) has received 2,222 trucks to replace old ones in a bid to renovate the country's road transportation fleet.

 

The trucks were offered by Mammut Company.

 

IFCC has signed a deal with Mammut for manufacturing 5,000 trucks to replace oil trucks in the country.

 

So far, replacement of 1,800 trucks has been carried out and another 422 trucks were handed over to IFCC for replacing with old ones on Saturday.

 

According to an act by the Planning and Budget Management Organization, the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade has been tasked with replacing 65,000 old trucks with more than 35 years of age with new ones.
