Vineet Jaiswal has moved on from JSW Group and joined Vedanta Resources Ltd. as Chief Digital & Technology Officer (CDO). Vedanta Resources Limited is a globally diversified Natural Resources Company with interests in zinc-lead-silver, Iron ore, Steel, Copper, Aluminium, Power, Oil and Gas. Geographically, the company's operations are centred in India, Africa and Australia with over 65,000 employees.
In his new role, Jaiswal will lead the digital transformation initiatives and will strategically manage IT to benefit the business. In his previous stint as CDO at JSW Group, he was responsible for digital transformation aligning the company's vision for the future in the digital space. Jaiswal has over 25 years of work experience from being a developer, architect, project manager, people leader to strategic roles.
Previously, he had multiple leadership roles in his 17 years career with GE. Have also served as a board member for GE Intelligent Platforms India and GE Power Conversion India.
Jaiswal completed both his Bachelors in Engineering and MBA from Nagpur University.
